Sideshow, per festeggiare l’uscita del nuovo film della saga di Star Wars, realizza un’edizione esclusiva di R2-D2 per la linea Sixth Scale Figure.
Questa versione debutterà al Toy Soul 2015, dove i visitatori potranno prenotarla in anteprima presso lo stand Hot Toys e successivamente per tutto il 2016 sarà protagonista di diversi eventi in tutto il mondo, compreso Wonder Con e il San Diego Comic Con 2016.
Si differenzia dalla versione normale per la colorazione Black & White con alcune sfumature in argento.
