I Golden Globe del 2024 hanno rafforzato la posizione dei principali contendenti agli Oscar nella competizione per i premi. I Golden Globe hanno sancito il culmine di mesi di festival cinematografici e premi precursori, elargendo riconoscimenti ai migliori film, programmi TV e performance del 2023.
La cerimonia di quest’anno, presentata dal comico Jo Koy presso il Beverly Hilton di Los Angeles, ha visto “Oppenheimer” di Christopher Nolan emergere come il principale contendente tra le produzioni hollywoodiane per il grande schermo. Il film ha ottenuto cinque prestigiosi riconoscimenti durante la serata, tra cui Miglior Film Drammatico, Miglior Attore (Cillian Murphy), Miglior Attore non Protagonista (Robert Downey, Jr.), e vari altri premi tecnici.
Anche la protagonista di “Killers of the Flower Moon“, Lily Gladstone, ha rafforzato la sua posizione nella corsa agli Oscar come Migliore Attrice con una vittoria ai Golden Globe. Nel frattempo, Emma Stone (“Poor Things”), Paul Giamatti (“The Holdovers”), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (“The Holdovers”) e le suddette star di “Oppenheimer” hanno consolidato le loro posizioni nella competizione per la gloria agli Academy Awards.
